What kind of balance do you have in your life right now? You know what I mean. Is your life like a foggy picture? The days tend to blend in? Do you spend time during the day with family and friends? Do you take time out for yourself? Is time running fast and furious? Do you feel like you don’t have enough time during the day? Do you have a lot of stress in your life? Does your work and personal life all go into one basket? Do you have a balance life?
If you can’t stop thinking about projects and tasks, you are not living a balance life. Is there a nagging doubt over you? Are you tired, stressed out, burned out, and so short on time? Do you forget important days like birthdays? Do you rarely eat dinner before 9:00pm? If you answered yes to any one of these then life is definitely leading you! Your choice is to listen to your intuition and start taking control of your life or stop reading right now! If you choose to step up and start taking control. Here are 2 measures to restore life balance:
1.Assess Your Life. We are like a computer, we run like a programming software. We put stuff in and we get stuff out. If we put too much in or take on too much, you get overloaded. Then your circuit burns out. Life is similar. To restore your balance into your life, you need to look at your values. What feeds your soul? What is your values with work, home life, family, friends, spirituality, recreation, financial, and physical health? Ask yourself what are the 3 most stressful and unsatisfying parts or areas in each category and write them down. Next ask yourself what is your vision of what your life balance would look and feel like. By doing this simple review, you can find out which areas of your life needs balance. Even if you adjust one stressful thing by adding or eliminating that one thing. It can change your life dramatically. Balance life is not about perfection. It’s about finding what is equal in all areas of life. It allows you to feel nurtured.
2.Simplify Your Life. To live simpler is to get rid of things that are not important in your life. You choose what is important to you. Living simpler is to ask yourself, “ Is this right for me?” “ How does this meet my values?” “Is this in my best interest right now?”
Bring balance in to your life is by making smart decisions. It is about making you aware of what makes you happy. Stress is not going to go away. It will be there. However it is about how you deal with it.
